VDC was founded in 1922 in the center of the historical world,s best Flax Region.  The family business is currently run by the 4th generation of Vandecasteele who also intends to be a “linen expert” and built up appreciated product knowledge.

VDC, a company with a tradition to tells the “secrets of linen”, is equipped with state of an art production setup to process short Flax fibers for spinning purposes as well as cut fibers for the nonwoven industries and is also committed to controlling all aspects of the production process, from the visit to the Flax Farmer to the quality control during the whole production process.
VDC Believes that Quality flax (for the textile industry) is only grown in Belgium, France, and the Netherlands after all, because of the climate and the ideal structure of the soil.
